The People Here
Associate Creative Director
What attracted you to CCDP?
My wife! I was raised Catholic and Angela and I were married at CCDP in 1997. I remember Reverend Tim Elliott was very welcoming and so open and friendly, with me and my family. Angela's parents regularly attended church at CCDP every Sunday, so we joined them.
What keeps you here?
The people. They are so committed to this place, volunteering their time and energy. I can't help but want to join in and help them.
How are you engaged in the parish right now and why?
I'm proud to say that I'm Deputy Church Warden, now in my second year of service. Working with Kevin, Paul and the other Wardens has helped me learn more about the value of teamwork and becoming a leader.
What word or phrase best describes the community at CCDP?
It may sound redundant, but the word is community. There is so much going on here and we count on each other to get things done.
What do you think is the most compelling thing about Christianity?
It's there for you, just ask.
What would it surprise most people to know about you?
I can speak and read Polish. Dziekuje, Mom and Dad!
What books would we find on your night table right now?
like to read non-fiction, I'm reading "David and Gloiath" by Malcolm Gladwell right now. However I must confess that more often than not I end my day reading online articles.
