SUMMARY:Jazz Vespers: 25th Anniversary Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a wonderful afternoon of jazz music! This informal service includes a few prayers\, a short reflection\, and\, of course\, lots of jazz. This service is particularly special as we are marking 25 years of Jazz Vespers at Christ Church Deer Park! \nWe will have The Brian Barlow Big Band in the house! \nJohn Johnson\, Colleen Allen\, Alex Dean\, Perry White\, Conrad Gluch (saxophones) \nAlexis Baro\, Alexander Brown\, Blair Yarranton\, Brad Eaton (trumpets) \nDiane Doig (French horn) \nRuss Little\, Paul Tarussov\, Zach Smith (trombones) \nGord Sheard (piano)\, Scott Alexander (bass)\, Brian Barlow (drums) \nWith special guest vocalist Heather Bambrick. \nWe also will welcome former rector of CCDP\, The Reverend Tim Elliott\, as our second special guest. \nThe service begins at 4:30pm and runs for about one and a half hours. \nAll are welcome!
