SUMMARY:A Spiritual Walk to "the Destructor"
DESCRIPTION:Spring is almost here\, and Stephen Drakeford and Brad Lennon invite you to join us for our next spiritual walk on Saturday\, April 12 at 10 AM. \n\nWe will depart from the Christ Church Deer Park office entrance door and then take the subway together to High Park Station. Our 7 km jaunt will take us through the north end of High Park and up Keele Street past historic St Martin-in-the-Fields Anglican Church. We will continue up the West Toronto Railway to the Old Stockyards area. Our destination will be the Junction Craft Brewing site in a former City of Toronto 1930’s art-deco incinerator known as “The Destructor.” The building is a beautifully restored\, award-winning heritage building. We can return back to Deer Park via the St. Clair West streetcar. Please join us!\n \nTo register for this hike or to ask questions\, contact Brad at blennon@sympatico.ca. Our May 10th sale will focus on these things\, so start cleaning out your closets now! \nBeginning March 1 and for all the Saturdays between then and May 10\, we will be accepting donations only of clothing\, accessories (jewllery\, purses/bags\, etc.) and footwear. Please bring your donations to the glass door along Heath Street on the Saturdays of March 1\, 8\, 15\, 22\, 29\, April 5\, 12\, 19\, 26\, and May 3 from 11am-2pm. (We ask that you only bring donations at this time\, as this is when our Rummage volunteers are at the church.) \nAnd then\, of course\, come and shop on May 10th!
