DESCRIPTION:The Stations of the Cross began when early Christian pilgrims to Jerusalem wanted to follow literally in Jesus’ footsteps\, pausing for prayer and devotion at different locations. We will set up 12 stations around the church. On Tuesday from 5:30pm- 6:30pm\, following opening prayers\, we will offer timed periods of meditation on different moments in Jesus’ journey to the Cross. On Wednesday\, 9-10am and Thursday 5-6pm\, we invite you to move through and contemplate the stations at your own pace.

DESCRIPTION:The resurrection was not witnessed in isolation; it unfolded before a crowd and continues to unfold today in our own lives and those of our neighbours. Using the work of Rachel Billups\, author and Senior Pastor at New Albany United Methodist Church\, we will journey to the cross and explore the resurrection through the experiences of unlikely people. Alternating each week between Scripture and Indigenous Canadian film\, we will listen for the presence of the Spirit.
